A new chapter in the political landscape of Owan West is set to unfold as Frank Ilaboya has formally declared his intention to contest for the Edo State House of Assembly seat representing Owan West.
The declaration, billed as an elaborate flag-off ceremony, is scheduled for 10 a.m. and has been tagged the Mother of All Declarations in Owan West, signaling what supporters describe as a major political statement ahead of the contest.
In a statement personally signed by the aspirant, Ilaboya called on sons and daughters of Owan West, particularly members and faithful of the All Progressives Congress, to turn out in large numbers and be part of what he described as a defining moment for the constituency.
“We are set for an elaborate flag-off ceremony we code-named Mother of All Declarations in Owan West. Everything has been put in place for a successful ceremony,” Ilaboya assured.
The declaration is expected to draw party loyalists, community leaders, youths, and stakeholders from across Owan West, as the aspirant officially presents his ambition and outlines his vision for representation at the state assembly.
Political observers see the move as an early signal of what may shape the race for the Owan West seat, with expectations that the declaration will set the tone for grassroots mobilization and engagement in the constituency.
