RAK LEAGUE UNVEILS NEW LOGO AS BADAGRY FOOTBALL WAR LOOMS

New Identity, New Strength, New Ambition

The countdown has entered its decisive stage as the RAK/BDFA League prepares to kick off its sixth edition on August 15, 2026, with the unveiling of a new logo adding colour, identity and renewed purpose to a competition that has steadily become the epitome of youth football in the Badagry Divisional Football Association region.

The new RAK League logo is more than a change of design. It represents a statement of intent—a symbol of strength, professionalism, unity, ambition and the growing influence of grassroots football across the Badagry division.

With 36 club sides set to battle for supremacy, the league is expected to produce a football war in the best sporting sense, as young talents, ambitious coaches and determined teams chase glory and the opportunity to put their names on the Badagry football map.

Behind the competition is a carefully assembled football machinery involving the BDFA committee, league officials, referees, match officials, coaches and participating clubs, all saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that the tournament meets the standards expected of one of the region’s most important grassroots football platforms.

The new logo therefore arrives at a significant moment. Its bold identity mirrors the character of the competition itself—strong, competitive and increasingly professional. It reflects a league that is no longer simply about playing matches, but about creating an organised pathway for young footballers to develop their skills, gain competitive experience and attract attention.

For the BDFA committee and league organisers, the task is enormous. From officiating and match administration to discipline, scheduling, logistics and the overall welfare of participating teams, every department will be expected to play its part.

The referees, too, will occupy a crucial position when the whistle goes on August 15. Their professionalism, neutrality and consistency will be essential in maintaining the credibility of the championship, particularly as 36 clubs enter the competition with one objective: to win.

The RAK League has, over the years, grown into a platform capable of bringing together communities, clubs, young footballers and football administrators. It has become a meeting point for talent and opportunity, while strengthening the football culture of the Badagry division.

This year’s edition promises even more intensity.

Thirty-six clubs. One battlefield. One coveted crown.

As the new RAK logo takes its place as the visual identity of the competition, the message is unmistakable: the RAK/BDFA League is ready for a new chapter, and Badagry football is ready for war.

Come August 15, the talking will stop, the boots will be laced, the referees will take their positions and the beautiful game will take centre stage.

The logo is new. The identity is stronger. The ambition is bigger. Now, let the football war begin!
