As part of its preparations for the 2025/26 season, Ikorodu City shall be participating in the maiden Eko International Cup 2025, billed to hold at the prestigious Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, between Sunday, July 13 and Sunday, July 20, 2025.
It will be joining five other clubs, Enyimba FC, Rivers United, 3SC of Ibadan, Remo Stars and FC Kallon of Sierra Leone for the pre season tourney.
According to the draws held in Lagos on Friday, Ikorodu City, Rivers United and 3SC are in Group A.
Ikorodu City is expected to play its opening match on Sunday against the Oluyole warriors. The technical crew of the Oga Boys, will use the tournament to test newly recruited players, as well as, keeping the team in top shape, as it plans to build a stronger, better and very competitive squad ahead of the upcoming season.
