    The New Maracana Stadium, Tolu Ajegunle, Lagos State came alive yesterday as the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation successfully hosted another inspiring session of its girls’ football initiative tagged “Let Her Play.” The programme brought together young talented girls passionate about football, giving them a safe and supportive environment to showcase their skills, learn the game, and build confidence both on and off the pitch.


    The event featured engaging training drills, skill development sessions, and friendly matches aimed at nurturing grassroots female football while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The initiative continues to break barriers and create opportunities for girls to actively participate in football, encouraging them to dream big and pursue their sporting ambitions.

    Through programmes like Let Her Play, the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation remains committed to youth development, gender inclusion in sports, and community empowerment, ensuring that young girls in Ajegunle and beyond have the platform and support needed to excel.
