Over the last three days, I had the privilege of joining my colleagues — Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen from across the 57 LGs and LCDAs of Lagos — for an onboarding retreat put together by the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
It was more than a retreat; it was a recharge. We shared ideas, deepened our understanding of governance, and aligned our focus with the THEMES+ Agenda of our Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu — a vision built on traffic solutions, better healthcare, quality education, economic growth, security, and a stronger social safety net for our people.
We also drew strength from the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, which calls every leader — at every level — to serve with courage, innovation, and compassion.
I return to Ajeromi-Ifelodun more committed than ever to turn these policies into action that touches lives in real time. My gratitude goes to the Lagos State Government and the Ministry for this timely investment in leadership.
The road ahead is clear — service, progress, and results for our people. That is the promise.
