    NYCN Ajeromi-Ifelodun Chapter Pays Courtesy Visit to Executive Chairman Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe

    In a remarkable demonstration of civic engagement and youth advocacy, the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ajeromi-Ifelodun Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe, at the council secretariat.

    Led by the dynamic President, Ambassador Isaac Success, alongside members of his executive council, the delegation expressed their commitment to fostering youth development and strengthening collaboration with the local government. During the fruitful deliberation, the council executives passionately advocated for greater youth inclusiveness in governance and community-building initiatives.

    Key issues raised included:

    The allocation of a functional office space within the council premises to serve as the NYCN’s operational base.
    Strategic partnership and support from the council in planning and hosting the upcoming International Youth Day celebration.
    A call for increased participation of young people in local policy-making and developmental programs.
    In his response, Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe commended the NYCN leadership for their proactive approach and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment. He acknowledged the pivotal role of young people in driving sustainable development and assured the delegation that their requests would receive due consideration.

    “The future of Ajeromi-Ifelodun lies in the hands of our vibrant youth. This administration is deeply committed to creating an enabling environment for young minds to thrive and contribute meaningfully to our collective progress,” the Chairman stated.
    The meeting concluded on a promising note, with both parties expressing optimism about a stronger partnership aimed at advancing the interests of youths across the local government area.
