AJEMA 5.0, themed “Back to Base”, represents a major milestone in our journey of celebrating excellence, rewarding impact, and elevating grassroots talents and personalities to national and continental recognition.

The Ajegunle Entertainment & Merit Awards (AJEMA) was established to identify, celebrate, honour, and reward individuals, brands, institutions, and talents who have demonstrated excellence, creativity, leadership, influence, and social impact within and beyond the Ajegunle community.
Over the years, AJEMA has grown into a respected cultural institution that bridges grassroots recognition with national visibility, while continuously promoting positive narratives about the Ajegunle community.

June 1st, 2026
The nomination process will allow members of the public to submit entries across all official award categories, ensuring transparency, inclusiveness, fairness, and broad community participation.
*PUBLIC VOTING PERIOD*
Following the nomination phase, shortlisted nominees will proceed to public voting across all categories, giving the audience and supporters the opportunity to actively participate in selecting winners.
*NOMINEES PARTY / AJEGUNLE ALL STARS CONCERT*
September 25th, 2026
This exclusive pre-award event will feature:
• Official presentation of Nominee Certificates
• Live performances by Ajegunle’s finest entertainers
• Media coverage and nominee spotlight sessions
• Networking opportunities between nominees, industry stakeholders, sponsors, and partners
• Entertainment and celebration of Ajegunle culture and creativity
This event will serve as the official celebration and build-up to the grand award ceremony.

The grand finale of AJEMA 5.0 will hold at the Nathaniel Idowu Stadium (Unity Pitch), Ajegunle, Lagos.

One of the major highlights of AJEMA 5.0 will be the formal recognition and symbolic coronation of Ali Baba as the King of Nigeria’s Entertainment Industry, in honour of his pioneering role, legendary contributions, and long-standing influence in shaping the Nigerian entertainment industry.
This recognition is aimed at celebrating legacy, leadership, and the importance of honouring those who paved the way for future generations.
