    The 1XCUP continues to gather momentum as the Lagos Island and Ikorodu zones produce another exciting round of grassroots football action.

    In the Lagos Island zone, Collins Edwin secured a confident 2–0 victory over Bethel Sporting, while 36 Lion FC edged past G12 FC 1–0 in a tightly contested encounter. Both results underline the competitive nature of the zone as teams battle for crucial points.

    Attention then shifted to Ikorodu, where Ama Smile FC produced the day’s biggest statement, thrashing Brighton FA 4–0. Kiraa FA also impressed, defeating Adhoc FA 3–0 to complete a dominant double for the zone.

    With the knockout stage drawing closer, every goal and point could prove decisive. The race is heating up, and fans can expect even more drama as the 1XCUP enters its crucial phase.
