I am deeply honoured to announce my appointment as the Media Aide – Strategic Communication to the Director General of the National Sports Commission, Hon Bukola Olopade.
To be hand picked by a leader and an astute administrator of his calibre – a man famously known as the “chairman of the Unseen” is both a privilege and a call to higher responsibility.
Hon Bukola’ track record from his days as the sports commissioner of sports in Ogun State, President of Wheel chair basketball, Venturing into football administration as a club owner with Stormers Football club , elevating long distance races into global recognition to administering the national sports commission is a master class and passion.
Serving as your Media Aide on Strategic Communication is a milestone I am incredibly proud of.
From my tenure as the longest serving Media officer of the Super Falcons (the best National team in Africa )to becoming a Confederation of African Football CAF Venue Media Officer and this recent simultaneous badge of becoming the media Aide of an astute administrator, a hard worker and an individual that believes in inclusivity and excellence is an opportunity I would not take for granted 👏.
Thank you sir , for trusting me to manage the narrative of the commission at such a pivotal time.
Your kind words in kickstarting my new role in the meeting in Benin over a month ago at the closure of the Niger Delta Games, rings constantly in my ears.
” I know your onions, you have the capacity, – get to work !
Thank you for seeing the potential in me sir , let’s get to work.
