    Nigeria Players Union Mourns  Former NFF President Ibrahim Galadima

    The President Of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) Comrade Tijani Babangida, Executive committee and entire members of the Nigeria players union commiserate with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Nigeria Football fraternity and family of late Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima,  former NFF president. 

    According to the official release signed by General Secretary, Edema Fuludu, “players union is saddened by the news of the passing on of Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima who went to his maker on Saturday the 18th day of April 2026.

    “Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima was  known as ‘Mr integrity’, for his transparency and accountability in his 2002 to 2006 tenure as President of the NFF.  Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima served in the Football ecosystem with passion , consciencousness, accountability, transparency and forward looking mantra.

    “He will surely be missed for positive legacies he left behind. The Federal government through the Kano State government should create or name a monument in his honour to immortalize this gentle giant of Nigeria Football fraternity.
