Held amid excitement and celebration, the encounter between Fortune FC and Strong Dove FC lived up to expectations. Both sides showcased impressive tactical discipline and youthful exuberance, battling to a 1–1 draw in regulation time. With neither team willing to give an inch, the match was eventually decided via a penalty shootout.
Fortune FC held their nerve in the decisive moments, converting their chances with composure to secure a 4–2 victory on penalties, and in doing so, were crowned champions of the tournament. Their triumph reflects not only their resilience in the final but also their consistency throughout the competition.
In recognition of their achievement, Fortune FC received a cash prize of ₦500,000, while runners-up Strong Dove FC were awarded ₦300,000 for their impressive campaign. Ajegunle United FC finished third, earning ₦150,000, while Talented FC from Badagry secured fourth place with a reward of ₦75,000.
Beyond the monetary rewards, all participating teams were honored with medals and food items, generously provided by the league’s sponsor, the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation. The gesture further emphasized the commitment to youth development and welfare.
